Day 01: Arrival in Delhi (by flight)
Welcome to Delhi, the capital of India. Proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi sightseeing
After your morning meal, set out on a sightseeing excursion in Old Delhi. Explore Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk, with the option to take a rickshaw ride. Next, continue your journey to New Delhi, where you’ll visit Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Rajpath, the President’s House, Parliament House, Bangla Sahib Sikh Temple, Birla Temple, and Qutb Minar. Should you desire, there’s an opportunity for some shopping as well.
Conclude the day by returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra: 230 km/03:30 hours
Upon arrival in Agra, you will check into your hotel. After a brief respite, your next stop is the magnificent Agra Fort. Constructed in 1576, this impressive complex is situated approximately 2.5 km northwest of the Taj Mahal. It served as the residence of the great Mughal emperors and the center of governance for the country.
Return to the hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 04: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambore: 270 km/06:00 hours
To witness the Taj Mahal at its most enchanting, we’ll schedule a sunrise visit. This extraordinary mausoleum was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It stands as the pinnacle of Mughal architecture, a harmonious blend of Persian, Ottoman, Indian, and Islamic design elements. This iconic symbol of eternal love attained UNESCO World Heritage status in 1983.En route to Agra, we’ll make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, which served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585.
Upon our return to Agra, you’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Following that, it’ll be time to check out and embark on the journey to Ranthambore.
Upon reaching Ranthambore, we’ll guide you to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Morning and evening Safari in Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park, situated in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, covers an expansive area of 392 square kilometers, making it one of North India’s largest and most renowned national parks. Once known as a prominent hunting ground for the Maharajas of Jaipur, today, Ranthambore National Park stands as a prime wildlife tourism destination. The park has earned its reputation for being a sanctuary to Bengal tigers, making it one of India’s premier locations to witness these majestic predators in their natural habitat.
Today, you’ll have the exceptional opportunity to encounter these majestic tigers. Your day starts early with the morning safari, typically between 6:00 and 7:30 am, dependent on the season. You can opt for either a shared 6-seater jeep or a 20-seat canter for your transportation.
Following the safari, you’ll return to the hotel for some well-deserved rest. In the afternoon, another safari awaits, generally commencing between 2:30 and 3:30 pm, again subject to seasonal variations.
Conclude your day with an overnight stay at the Ranthambore hotel.
Day 06: Ranthambore – Jaipur: 210 km/03:30 hours
Initiate your Jaipur adventure after a hearty breakfast, setting off on a picturesque drive to the Pink City. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in at your hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to savor at your own pace. You can unwind at the hotel, take a leisurely stroll to get acquainted with the city, indulge in some retail therapy, or immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Bollywood at Jaipur’s iconic Raj Mandir Cinema.
As an alternative, your driver can accompany you to Jaigarh Fort, offering breathtaking vistas of Amber Fort and the serene Maota Lake. Extending over 3 kilometers, this historic fort, constructed by Jai Singh II in 1726, is home to one of the world’s most colossal cannons – the awe-inspiring Jaivana Cannon, boasting a barrel length of 6.15 meters (20.2 feet) and a weight of 50 tons.
To end your day, enjoy an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 07: Jaipur sightseeing
The day starts with a visit to the historic Amber Fort, situated just 10 kilometers outside Jaipur. For a unique experience, you have the option to ascend the fort on the back of an elephant. After exploring the Amber Palace and Kali Mata Temple, we’ll make our way back to the city.
Next, your journey takes you to the renowned City Palace, a magnificent creation of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign and one of Jaipur’s top tourist attractions. You’ll also explore the Hawa Mahal, often called the “Palace of Breeze,” built in 1799, and the famous Jantar Mantar observatory, commissioned between 1724 and 1730 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur.
After your sightseeing adventures, you’ll have some free time for leisure or shopping. It’s worth noting that Jaipur is globally renowned for its exquisite stone jewelry.
To conclude the day, make your way back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Jaipur – Delhi: 270 km/04:30 hrs.
Following breakfast, begin your drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you can either proceed to the international airport for your return flight home or for your connecting program. Alternatively, you have the option to extend your stay in Delhi for one more night.
