DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arrive Delhi – Agra (Drive 210 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Hello and welcome to India!
When you arrive at Delhi International Airport Terminal 3, a representative from Kuber Tours Travels will be there to assist you at the arrival lounge. They’ll introduce you to your driver, who will take you to Agra.
In Agra, you’ll explore a city with a rich history dating back to the 11th century. One of the highlights is its grand fort, which is heavily influenced by the Mughal style of architecture. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire, and various Mughal emperors left their mark on this fort, beautifying it according to their preferences. Please note that a significant portion of the fort is inaccessible to tourists due to its military use, and the part you can visit is quite large, so be prepared for some lengthy uphill walks.
In the evening, you’ll visit Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful garden complex designed in the Mughal “charbagh” style. It’s one of the last Mughal gardens in Agra and is located just north of the Taj Mahal. From here, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and the Yamuna River on the opposite side. Mehtab Bagh is perfectly aligned with the Taj Mahal’s gardens, offering a picture-perfect view of the Taj, especially from the fountain at the entrance gate. It’s a popular spot for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers, especially during sunset.
Afterward, you’ll check in at your hotel for a comfortable stay.

Day 02 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur (Drive 250 Kms/ 05 Hrs)
Our day begins with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal at sunrise, a breathtaking sight (please note it’s closed on Fridays). The first light of day enhances the beauty of this stunning monument, casting a golden hue on its white marble dome. To ensure you have the best view, we’ll arrive at least 30 minutes before the sunrise, as there’s usually a long queue for entry. It’s important to keep in mind that, aside from your passport and camera, you won’t be allowed to bring anything inside, not even water. The parking area is located approximately one kilometer from the Taj Mahal, and you can choose to either walk or take a Tanga ride or a Battery bus. Exploring the extensive Taj Mahal complex typically takes about two hours, after which we’ll return to the hotel to enjoy a well-deserved breakfast.
Next, our journey continues to Jaipur. En route, we’ll make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, which is around 40 kilometers from Agra, but the narrow roads can make the journey take more than an hour. Upon disembarking from your vehicle, be cautious of persistent hawkers trying to sell their wares or guide you to their shops. Simply stick with your tour guide. Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar under the guidance of Sufi Saint Salim Chisti and once served as the capital, although it was eventually moved back to Agra due to water scarcity in Fatehpur Sikri.
Our next stop will be Abhaneri, a village located en route to Jaipur (approximately 8-10 kilometers off the main road). If you’re interested in exploring less-traveled destinations, Abhaneri is a fascinating place known for its 9th-century step wells, known as Chand Baori, and the Harshad Mata temple. Spending about 20-25 minutes here should be sufficient, and make sure to arrive before sunset. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Jaipur and check in at the hotel upon arrival.
